Our guest house
Les Chambres d'Andréa is a typical southern-French ‘vigneron’ house. Built originally to accommodate wine-producers and the fruits of their delicious harvests, these houses feature impressive arched entrances through which horses and carts would to-and-fro loaded with ‘tonnières’ – huge barrels of wine – which were destined for the harbour to be loaded on to waiting canal barges.
The house has recently been renovated to a high, contemporary specification – though retaining its authentic charm – which ensures your stay with us will be comfortable, pleasurable and relaxed.
We your hosts, Stephanie and Philippe, live in the adjoining house so you are afforded privacy whilst conviviality and friendliness are all part of the welcoming atmosphere and ‘home’ experience.
Our garden with a swimming pool
The garden is well-stocked and typical of the Languedoc region with established fig, cypress, and tea-trees. Bathed in sunlight throughout the day, yet shaded and calm, it is a perfect spot to escape the bustle of everyday life. Relax in the pool; take a drink on the decked terrace; stretch out on a sun-lounger and simply enjoy yourself. You need have nothing else to think about.
Breakfast of croissants, jams, coffee or tea, and fruit juice will be served in the garden if you wish.
